"Good citizens cannot be made suddenly. They must grow..."
Harriett Mulford Lothrop
Oregon State Society is pleased to welcome you. Our diverse state boasts everything from coastal land, to mountain ranges, to deserts. Please reach out if you have any questions.
State President Lucy Torres has chosen "Thrive Anywhere" as her theme for the 2025-26 year. Her project has two parts:
  • To raise funds for scholarships through Fisher House.
  • To increase membership and engagement in O.S.S.C.A.R.

Join us as we celebrate the valor of our military youth and remember those brave men and women in our lives that have served with valor--including our American Revolution Patriots!

What is C.A.R.?

The Children of the American Revolution (C.A.R.) trains good citizens, develops leaders, and promotes love of the United States of America. Local societies throughout the state promote the projects and theme each year. They are actively involved in community service projects, as well as learn about their American heritage.
