National President Dianna Brokaw Senior National President A partnership with Our Military Kids, Inc. will offer Extracurricular Activity Grants to Children of Deployed National Guard, Deployed Reserve, or Post 9/11 Combat-Injured Service Members. Our Military Kids Inc. provides $300 grants so children can participate in extracurricular activities like gymnastics, soccer, piano lessons, drum lessons, baseball, and cheer. The grants are also available for tutoring and camps. The grants benefit families by giving kids a distraction from having a parent deployed, giving the mom or dad time to run errands or buy groceries, and giving the child an opportunity to meet friends while having fun. |
